FRUSTRATED!!!!! Though I looked forward to creating comics, I got super annoyed by copying and pasting pictures to my comic strip! I NEED different software to do all this work!!!

In todays Tech and Computing class we discussed POWERPOINTS! It was great to learn that though someone can stand in front of the class prensenting, they can still test the understanding of their students by using www.m.socrative.com

BLOGS - what I should know about it

1. it is an online communication tool; almost like writing a journal
2. absolutely ANYONE can blog!
3. all you need to do is to write a post on the blogging program you are using. When you POST what you have written, your writing is then free for orthers to view and comment on. This is BLOGGING
4. blogging is a creative and exciting way to engage people into online conversations. They can easily comment and reflect on your posts
5. be careful: some information mentioned in blogs, can be incorrect and biased!
6. who knows where blogging will end up? Technology improves every day and so will the use of blogs
7. For students to use blogs, mean that they can learn from each other and reflect on their learning when writing a post. If the students then comment on other students' posts, they can then show some insight on what they have learned.

I learned something new last week! never even knew PODCASTS existed! I must be really behind with my technology knowledge :-) But now that I know what it is and how to create a podcast, I can definitely see how I would use it in my classroom! It is a great tool to use in order to involve your classroom with the learning they have done! How exciting??? I cannot wait to try it out in my classroom one day!
